Join us for an authentic African Bush Experience at Elswhere Game Reserve which is nestled in the pristine Northern Zululand Bushveld. Elswhere is a neighbour to Ithala Game Reserve and a short distance from Jozini Dam. We are situated 450km’s from Johannesburg and 350km’s north of Durban.

The Lodge consists of eight comfortable en-suite bedrooms, a bar and lounge area and a covered dining area which flows onto a pool and wooden deck. It is here where one is able to relax around a log fire in the evenings and reflect on the day’s activities.

A typical day at Elswhere Game Lodge starts with an early morning continental breakfast of cereals, yogurt, fruit, rusks and muffins. This is followed by a choice of a game drive, bush walk or horse ride or if one wishes, relaxing in the beautiful garden or around the pool. We then offer our guests a brunch consisting of bacon, eggs, sausages, toast, a selection of cold meats and fruits and vegetables. In the heat of the day our guests normally relax around the pool, take short siestas or we offer short drives to the Pongola river or the scenic look-out points on the game reserve.
Our late afternoons consist of tea & cakes followed by a game drive, bush walk or horse ride. We also offer sundowner game drives where guests enjoy drinks and snacks around a fire while listening to the sounds of the African Bush.

We finish off our day with a delicious and well-balanced home-cooked dinner and quality time spent around the fire or relaxing in the lounge - bar area.
